Disable Heat DeathTo disable heat death (not exploding when you overheat) do the following. Take a mech that overheats by shuting down or explodes when perfoming an alpha strike. As soon as you do the alpha strike, quickly use your coolant by pressing the F key. You should recieve a message that says, "Heat death disabled."Easier SalvageTo salvage enemy mechs easier all you have to do is to shoot off one of the enemy mech's legs. An easy way to do this a group a lot of medium pulse lasers together and fire them at one leg. NOTE: This trick doesn't always work, but it does increase your chances for salvage.Video SelectTo view any of the videos from Mech Warrior 3, open "My Computer". Then right-click on the Mech Warrior 3 CD, then click on open. Then go into the video folder. Just double click on the video you wish to view.Walk under the battle field and be invisibleFirst, you need to go over to the Bridge on top of the waterfall, if you don't know what I'm talking about, look on the map just before you push launch on the desert level. And on the spot where it says start, go 1 square left and 1 up on the map, and it's that bridge there where it shows it. Second, walk on to the bridge and stop in the middle face to the top of the waterfall. When your on the bridge, walk like your going to go off to the top of the waterfall but you should slide down the water fall and be able to walk into it. You will be walking under the battlefield and still will be able to shoot the enemy Mechs, but they can't shoot you. It makes you invisible. It might take a few tries but it does work.
Note: You can't go under the bridge and walk into the falls, you must do what I said above. |
